Board the California Zephyr Train for an overnight excursion from Chicago to Grand Junction Colorado. While on the train, you will have a 2 person roomette accommodation, with dining car meals included.
Once arriving in Grand Junction, enjoy a downtown Airbnb accommodation for the night, before the shuttle to the trailhead at Colorado National Monument.
Explore the Colorado National Monument Traverse Trail for 3 days and 2 nights- including all meals, group gear, backpacking lessons, permits, and 2 water resupplies.
Your route back home is up to you! Return trip is not included, so you have the freedom to explore more of the area, take the train farther West, or start on a road trip, train trip, or flight back home.
